September 4, 2018 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force released today a final recommendation statement on screening for syphilis infection in pregnant women. The Task Force recommends screening all pregnant women for syphilis as early in pregnancy as possible. To view the recommendation and the evidence on which it is based, please go here.
