July 24, 2014 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force posted today a final research plan on screening for breast cancer. The draft research plan for this topic was posted for public comment from November 14 to December 11, 2013. The Task Force reviewed all of the comments that were submitted and took them into consideration as it finalized the research plan. In addition to the final research plan, the Task Force has posted an informational video presentation, which provides an overview of the Task Force's process for developing recommendations, where it is at and where it will go next in the development process, and how the public can provide input.
