September 27, 2011 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) is inviting public comment on its draft recommendation statement on Screening for Coronary Heart Disease with Electrocardiography (ECG). This draft recommendation is an update of the USPSTF 2004 recommendation. The updated draft recommendation focuses on ECG rather than electron-beam computerized tomography, which is addressed separately in another recommendation (Using Nontraditional Risk Factors in Coronary Heart Disease Risk Assessment).
