August 29, 2023 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force seeks comments on a draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review on primary care interventions to prevent child maltreatment. The Task Force is calling for more research on how to prevent child maltreatment before it occurs in children and adolescents who do not show signs or symptoms of abuse and neglect.
