April 22, 2025 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force seeks comments on a draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review on interventions to prevent perinatal depression. Pregnant and postpartum women who are at increased risk should be connected to counseling to prevent perinatal depression before it develops.
