February 16, 2021 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force seeks comments on a draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review on screening for gestational diabetes mellitus. The Task Force recommends that providers should screen all pregnant people at or after 24 weeks of pregnancy. More research is needed on screening for gestational diabetes before 24 weeks.
