Public Comment on Draft Recommendation Statement, Draft Evidence Review, and Draft Modeling Report: Screening for Cervical Cancer

December 10, 2024 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force seeks comments on a draft recommendation statement, draft evidence review, and draft modeling report on screening for cervical cancer. The Task Force recommends that women ages 21 to 65 get screened regularly for cervical cancer. The draft recommendation statement, draft evidence review, and draft modeling report are available for review and public comment from December 10, 2024 to January 13, 2025 here. Note the public comment period has been expanded from the standard four weeks to five weeks to account for the holidays.
