August 15, 2013 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force posted today its final Research Plan on screening for type 2 diabetes mellitus, impaired fasting glucose, and impaired glucose tolerance. The draft Research Plan for this topic was posted for public comment from May 2 to May 29, 2013. The Task Force reviewed all of the comments that were submitted and took them into consideration as it finalized the Research Plan.
