November 7, 2023 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force released today a final recommendation statement on screening and preventive interventions for oral health in children and adolescents ages 5-17 years. The Task Force determined that more research is needed to recommend for or against screening and interventions in non-dental primary care settings for children 5 years and older without symptoms.
