February 23, 2017 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force posted today three draft research plans on topics related to HIV screening and prevention: pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for the prevention of HIV infection, screening for HIV infection in asymptomatic, nonpregnant adolescents and adults, and screening for HIV infection in pregnant women. The draft research plans are available for review and public comment from February 23 through March 22.
