March 31, 2015 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force posted two draft recommendation statements today: 1) screening for iron deficiency anemia and iron supplementation in pregnant women to improve maternal health and birth outcomes, and 2) screening for iron deficiency anemia in young children. Both are available for review and public comment from March 31 through April 27, 2015.
